Throwback Thursday! Blogtober Day 19!

If only this were yesterday’s post, it would have been more fitting to the day of the week. Oh well, I’m glad it’s Friday!

So I have a few #TBT I wanted to share with you guys!  I hope you’re excited! 🙂
My Best Friend’s Wedding!

August 5th, 2017 my best friend got married and it was the best day ever, so much fun!!!  These photos were taken right before she walked down the isle.  I will always remember that day, and cherish sharing that moment with her and her hubby.  We had such a good time, and I loved every part of it.  I loved my dress, and the colors that she choose, so beautiful.  My best friend is my rock, and I can’t wait to see her again in a few weeks and get Mexican food like we always do.

Applebutter 2011/2012?

So this photo of my husband and myself, was taken when my family was making apple butter.  Every year my family gets together and makes apple butter the old fashioned way, and it is a blast!!  I think this was the first year that Matt came to it, so it was either 2011 or 2012, but I’m thinking it was 2011??  I love this photo of us so much, I need to get it framed.  I’m eating a bowl of my grandma’s vegetable soup which is delicious and even though I’m in Indiana, there is some in my freezer now.  I didn’t get to go to apple butter this year, but next year you better believe I’ll be there!  Gosh, look at us, we are so little.

Madrigal Dinner 2009

So during high school I was in the Madrigals singing group, and I loved every second of it.  I’m a soprano singer, and even had a mini solo during the closing song!!  This was my senior year of high school, I graduated in 2010, but this was during the Christmas season, so it’s 2009.  So featured in the photo with me, from left to right.  My great grandmother Cowger who is now 97 years old, myself, my great grandmother Louise, who is no longer with us, she passed away in 2014.  She was one month away from 101 years old!  Then my grandmother Peggy on the right, and she was the one who made my madrigal dress actually! I still have my dress, and will cherish it forever.  Man, I miss these times so much, and I’m thankful to still have two of my grandma’s in this picture.

What’s my Favorite Fall Treat? Blogtober Day 3!

This is a fun post!  We all love fall because it means so many yummy fall treats we all eat!       I definitely cannot pick just one treat, I mean be honest, can you?

First off, the one thing that I always look forward to getting my hands on are those sour jelly pumpkin gummy candies!!  When I worked at Cracker Barrel a few years back, we started getting those in, and ever since I HAVE to get a few bags ever year!  They are just something simple I always look forward too.

Sour Jelly Pumpkins, my favorite!

Next I would have to say my favorite fall treat would be Pumpkin Cheesecake!  I love all cheesecake but there is something about pumpkin cheesecake that just is extra special!  I usually always try to make at least one PC for the season, they’re not too hard to make, but definitely has a lot of steps.  Mmmm…I can almost taste it as I type this!

Pumpkin Cheesescake, can’t you just taste it!

Lastly I’ll have to say that ANYTHING apple is just amazing.  As much as I love pumpkin, apple desserts are my all-time favorite.  Pies, cobblers, crips, dumplings, fried apples, cheesecakes, all the apple desserts!!  I always love drinking hot apple cider as well, it’s just so delicious!

Doesn’t this just look amazing??

Blogtober Day 2: Fall Bucket List

Blogtober Day 2.

I’m so excited because today’s post is all about my fall bucket list!  I haven’t ever really sat down and wrote out what I’d like to do during the fall, so I really hope this helps with doing fun fall activities!

  1. Drink hot apple cider!  It’s absolutely my favorite thing!
  2. Go to a pumpkin patch.
  3. Go apple picking!
  4. Have a bonfire with the family!
  5. Have a photoshoot when the fall leaves change.
  6. Just take photos during the fall, leaves, corn fields, etc.
  7. Make allll the pumpkin treats, especially pumpkin cheesecake! (I already made pumpkin rice crispy treats! They are amazing!)
  8. Buy mums & pumpkins for the front porch. (I’ve already done this one, yay!)
  9. It would be awesome to go on a hayride, but I’ll have to do some research on how to do that one.
  10. My great grandmother makes popcorn balls every year to hand out for halloween, so I’d like to get the recipe and make them this year.
  11. Make a fall craft, maybe a wreath?
  12. Research what fall crafts to make, still hoping to make a wreath hehe!
  13. Add a few more sweaters to my fall wardrobe, also just did this one the other day!

I hope to actually do some of these things, and just enjoy fall to the fullest(guess I already have, yay, what a good feeling!!  I’m sure there are a few things I forgot to mention, but overall I just want to enjoy fall!

What’s on your fall bucket list?  Is it your favorite season like it is mine? Let me know in the comments!

BLOGTOBER DAY 1! Who Am I?

Hey everyone!!  I am SO excited for Blogtober & for so many reasons! First off, HAPPY FREAKING OCTOBER!!  October is my favorite month of the year, I just LOVE fall!  (Okay okay, I’ll tone it down a bit…getting crazy with the caps lock.)

Yes, it’s October which means, Blogtober has started and I am so excited to have a post out everyday of the month.  This whole blogging experience is super new to me still, so I’m just going with the flow, but enjoying it.

So day 1 is supposed to be: Tell people who you are.  I definitely feel I have done that super recently, especially since I just started, you can read that post here, so I’ll do a refresher, if this is the first post you’re reading of mine.  Let’s get started! 🙂

IMG_3542.jpg

Hey there!  My name is Seneca, and I’m 26 and currently live in Indiana.  I recently got married on May 26, 2018 to my wonderful husband!  In September, we just celebrated 8 years together, it’s amazing to think it’s been that long, but always feels like such a short time too.  My favorite part of being married is just sharing everything with him, it’s like having a sleepover with your best friend every day!

I’m originally from West Virginia, and my state pride is off the charts when it comes to where I’m from.  I miss my state so much every day, and I cannot wait until I get to go back home in November for a few days.  Family is always first in my life, and honestly it’s been a challenge for me being so far away from mine.  However we spend a lot of time with my husband’s family which always helps and I love them dearly.

I have a YouTube channel, Seneca Red Vlogs!  I love creating videos, and I’ve been creating for about a year and a half now.  It’s actually opened up a few doors for me, and I hope I can switch careers soon if all goes well.  I create mostly vlogs, but also have different lifestyle videos that are really fun.  I create videos to just make people smile, laugh, cheer someone up.  I love meeting new people through YouTube and love supporting them!  Seriously, if you know someone who creates YT videos, share their content…it takes 3 seconds and it is super helpful to your creator friends! 🙂

I am so excited for fall and all the fun activities I hope to get into.  I hope you will follow me on this Blogtober journey with me.  Are you doing Blogtober too?  Let me know in the comments, and I would love to read your post throughout this month!
